Basic Life Support – also called "CPR", or "cardiopulmonary resuscitation".

The participants in this course learn basic life support using practice mannequins which represent the infant and the juvenile casualty. The following topics are covered:

• action at an emergency
• assessing a casualty
• dealing with choking
• basic life support on infants
• basic life support on children from 1–8 years of age
• basic life support on older children

Courses will be offered again after the summer holidays.
